Cars, Bikes, Planes (and Boats)

We love cars, and making programmes about things we love is one of the perks of the job. From A Car Is Born, to Dream Machine we have built, restored, rescued and raced a whole garage of cars from e-type Jags to GT40’s, Mini-Coopers to MG-Roadsters. But the madness doesn’t stop with cars, we have also built an aeroplane, a helicopter (yes really!) three motorbikes and restored a 1930’s old working narrow boat.

Broadcast mainly on Discovery, our car programmes remain some of the most popular in the channel’s history, each are still being broadcast up to 11 years after they first appeared. Dream machine saw the restoration of 13 classic cars, 27 mechanics, a 12,000 square foot workshop and a £750,000 garage bill. 1 in 4 of the viewing audience phoned in to try and win the restored cars.
